Read All About IT! I was recently featured in the Minneapolis Startribune! A reporter from the paper took my pictures on my Thursday bus ride last week! The caption read: Jessie Basil listened to the radio on her phone while waiting for the Shakopee bus to depart en route to her job at Target in downtown Minneapolis. Electronic devices help on a long ride.

So since I could not bare giving up Starbucks Coffee for lent, I have given up Facebook. Suprisingly it has not been as difficult as I first expected. So in my efforsts to stay off Facebook I have reconnected my self with my blog. I have missed you mustard bird.

Forest Fuse

This hand crafted table was made from my brother-in law Nick Metcalf! He spent weeks and weeks on this beauty. By combinging all different woods and stains he made a masterpeice that is almost too great to eat on. He gets his inspiration from high end retailers and then creates them by adding his unique design sense all on his own. Although he and my sister reside in Las Vegas, this table made its way all the way to Minnesota where it now resides in MY dining room!
